Magic forward Jonathan Isaac is on the injury report heading into Sunday’s game. He is listed as questionable, due to his ongoing left knee injury.

Isaac has missed time recently due to the injury. He last played for Orlando in a March 12 game against the Washington Wizards. Here’s what we know about his playing status for Orlando’s Game 1 against Detroit on Sunday.

Jonathan Isaac’s injury status vs. Pistons

Isaac has been out for this team for more than a month. He has been dealing with a knee sprain. Magic fans hope that he is able to take the floor for the team on Sunday, against a strong Pistons team.

Isaac is averaging 2.6 points per game and 2.5 rebounds per contest, during the regular season. Orlando won 45 games during the regular season. Isaac is primarily a supporting player for the Magic, helping to rebound and set up his teammates.

Orlando is heading into the series with some momentum. The Magic whipped the Charlotte Hornets in a play-in game on Friday. Orlando won that contest, without Isaac, by a 121-90 score.

Orlando was led in that game by young star Paolo Banchero. Banchero scored 25 points for the Magic. He shot 9-for-17 from the field. Magic fans hope he can continue to produce in the Pistons series.

The Magic and Pistons play Game 1 Sunday at 6:30 ET. At time of writing, Detroit has no players listed on the NBA injury report.
