Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke criticizes police investigation of father’s death

Last year in Jul. 2025, WWE legend Hulk Hogan passed away due to an acute myocardial infarction, also known as a heart attack. Shortly after his death, TMZ released a documentary on the legend, followed by Netflix also releasing a Hogan documentary. While many people mourned Hogan’s death, his daughter, Brooke Hogan, remained strong about it and regularly voiced her concerns about foul play regarding his death.

While Brooke Hogan recently mentioned that the nurse during her father’s death soon went missing, she has now publicly criticized the police investigation regarding Hogan’s demise. Recently speaking to TMZ, she commented on how the police “missed the mark” by not immediately launching an investigation.

“There’s been a lot of inconsistencies from the beginning,” she told TMZ. “I think CWPD missed the mark by not immediately making this a big investigation and not questioning everything and everybody out the gate. This should have been treated as a taped off, locked down, thorough investigation from day one.”

The 38-year-old also claimed that the Clearwater Police Department’s public acknowledgment felt like “a slap in the face.” Clearwater police have declined to comment on her statements. She also mentioned how several things in the investigation did not add up. From initially hearing about no blood samples being available to later knowing that investigators found nothing suspicious in his blood.

Also, previously reported by TMZ, Brooke Hogan contacted the police within days of his death, asking them for an autopsy. However, a private autopsy was later performed, the results of which were not permitted to be viewed by Brooke.
