How to watch Noche UFC 4 as start time changed to accommodate Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn

MMA fans will have to tune in earlier than usual for the fourth edition of Dana White’s Noche UFC 4 this weekend.

The event, which ‘honours the remarkable contributions of Mexican fighters to combat sports’, on Mexican Independence Day weekend has been moved back to accommodate Ryan Garcia‘s boxing match with Conor Benn.

UFC CEO and Zuffa Boxing co-founder White is promoting both shows, with Noche UFC 4 in Arizona taking place before Garcia vs Benn in Las Vegas.

It comes a year after Noche UFC 3 shared a Saturday with another White-promoted boxing card, Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, which was live on Netflix.

However, this is the first year Noche UFC has been shifted out of its primetime evening slot to avoid competing for viewers with Garcia vs Benn, as both are airing on the same platform.

The event is headlined by a mouth-watering featherweight clash between Jean Silva and Jose Delgado, who replaced the injured former interim champion Yair Rodriguez late last month.

Mexican stars Brandon Moreno, Alexa Grasso, David Martinez and Edgar Chairez also feature at Noche UFC.

When and where is Noche UFC?

This year’s Noche UFC takes place on Saturday, September 12.

The event is being held at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

The first fight of the preliminary card is scheduled to begin at 10am local Arizona time (2pm ET, 7pm UK time).

That’s before the main card kicks off at 2pm local Arizona time (5pm ET, 10pm UK time).

Silva talks UFC ‘dream’ ahead of Noche UFC

Main eventer Silva — who also headlined the last Noche UFC card in San Antonio, Texas, where Diego Lopes knocked him out in two rounds — told UFC Brasil how losing to Lopes was a major turning point in his career.

Silva believes he is much more mature and on another level entirely since making his promotional debut with a first-round KO over Westin Wilson in January 2024.

“That’s when the dream of becoming UFC champion came,” Silva said, discussing the aftermath of his Lopes defeat.

“Because even being in the UFC, I never had this dream. I never even said it in an interview, like, ‘My dream is to become UFC champion.’

“My dream has always been to marry [my wife] — I’ve always made that very clear.

“But after I got knocked out by Diego, I remember the scene [of my family entering the cage] and in that moment, I saw [my wife’s] dream had become mine, which is to become UFC champion.

“So much so that I feel that was the turning point, because we went to the hospital, I was quiet there, and I saw her crying, but not of sadness, but crying from wanting to do something to avoid that pain.

“But there was no way to save me, to protect me — there was no such possibility.

“And at that moment, I looked at her and said, ‘Man, today I found out that my dream is to become UFC champion.’

“So, that’s when it changed — that’s when I felt like, for that to happen, I needed to make a change.

“As an entrepreneur, as an athlete, as a husband, as a son, as a father, as anything else, to be able to get where I want to get, I needed to change.”
