Heat’s Bam Adebayo shows support for girlfriend A’ja Wilson, Aces

With the Miami Heat on vacation, Bam Adebayo is making sure that he spends his free time very well.

And earn brownie points from Aj’a Wilson while he’s at it.

Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces bounced back from their opening-day loss after routing the Los Angeles Sparks, 105-78, at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday.

Of course, Adebayo was on hand to watch the game. He was flashed on the big screen during the game, with the broadcast panel lovingly referring to him as “Mr. A’ja Wilson.”

Adebayo is returning the favor after his girlfriend cheered for the Heat this season. Wilson even proudly sported Adebayo’s jersey during a game in November.

The 29-year-old Wilson played inspired against the Sparks, tallying 19 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks. She shot 7-of-14 from the field.

The Aces started their campaign with a defeat to the Phoenix Mercury, 99-66, at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday. Wilson had 19 points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks.

Wilson confirmed her relationship with Adebayo in 2025, although there were already rumors in 2024 that they were dating. Wilson even celebrated with Adebayo after winning the gold medal with Team USA in the Paris Olympics.

They have been inseparable since.

Wilson, the reigning MVP, was in attendance when the 28-year-old Adebayo scored a career-high 83 points in their win over the Washington Wizards in March.

After the game, Adebayo gave a special shoutout to Wilson.

“I’m thankful to have her in my life,” said the three-time All-Star.

The Aces will host the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday.
