Heat agree to contract with center after Klay Thompson addition
The Miami Heat had a big offseason acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo, but they also made other moves to help complement him and the rest of the team. The latest move seemed inevitable after rumors over the past few weeks, as Nick Richards is set to join the team, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
“Free agent center Nick Richards has agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Heat, sources tell ESPN. After signing Klay Thompson, the Heat fill roster slot No. 14 with a reserve big man,” Charania wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
