Oliver Glasner looks to pinch key Crystal Palace star as Nottingham Forest submit £22m bid
Nottingham Forest have launched a bid for Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz, talkSPORT understands.
Oliver Glasner is keen to reunite with the Colombia right-back at the City Ground before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Forest have put forward an opening proposal worth an initial £20million plus up to £2million in add-ons.
Palace have already strengthened in Munoz’s position this summer with two right-sided defenders joining the club.
Oscar Mingueza arrived on a free transfer from Celta Vigo in July.
He was followed through the door at Selhurst Park by Israel international Anan Khalaili earlier this month.
Despite their arrivals, Munoz started at wing-back in Saturday’s defeat to Everton as new manager Pierre Sage operated with a back three.
The 30-year-old joined Palace in January 2024, one month before Glasner’s appointment as manager.
Palace reunion at Forest?
His current deal has two years remaining with the option of a further 12 months following an extension in April 2025.
Munoz has made 109 appearances across all competitions for the Eagles, scoring 11 goals and adding 16 assists.
Of those, 105 came under Glasner, the fourth most of any player during his Palace tenure.
During the Austrian’s time in charge, Munoz won the FA Cup, Community Shield and Conference League.

However, Glasner departed the club at the end of last season following two-and-a-half years in charge.
He was subsequently appointed Forest manager at the start of July on a three-year deal.
Difficult start for Glasner
The 51-year-old is still awaiting his first victory in charge of the club, though.
Forest began their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 home defeat to Leeds United.
The result was followed by another loss to the same opponents in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, with Glasner’s side booed off at full-time.
A move for Munoz would take Forest’s summer spending past the £100million barrier.

Club-record signing Liam Delap is their latest addition following his £45million arrival from Chelsea.
Central defender Ousmane Diomande has also joined the club from Sporting Lisbon for £34million.
