Harrison Bader’s rehab stint homer comes with most confusing equipment setup ever

The San Francisco Giants are not having the best season so far, but they still have plenty of time to get back on track. One of the reasons for their skid could be due to injuries, and they’re waiting to get back some key players who can help them. One of those players is Harrison Bader, who is currently on rehab assignment with the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats, and looks like he’s ready to return to the majors.

He recently hit a homer, but that moment was more about what he was wearing at the moment. He had on a Giants helmet with a River Cats jersey. He also sported a yellow and red elbow pad and shin guard, with a blue arm sleeve and a green belt.

The saying was always if you look good, you play good, and Bader didn’t seem to fail in that area.

It’s uncertain when Bader will make his debut for the Giants. His hamstring has been bothering him since the season started, and it definitely affected the way he was performing.

Bader started his tenure with the Giants, slashing .115/.145/.192 batting line with a 30.9% strikeout rate in 55 turns at the plate. There was definitely some concern there, especially when looking at what he was able to do last season with the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies.

The hope is that he can find his rhythm during his rehab assignment, and he’s already shown some good things throughout his stint. If the Giants can get the 2025 Bader, they can find a way to win some games when he gets back.
