Giants HC John Harbaugh admits to Knicks ticket trouble before Game 3
Game 3 of the NBA Finals might be one of the most-watched basketball games to date, as the New York Knicks aim to take a 3-0 lead over the San Antonio Spurs. With it being the first Finals home game in New York since 1999, getting tickets for the contest has become quite a hassle for everybody. Including New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh.
While talking with media members on Monday, Harbaugh admitted that he has been unable to obtain tickets to the NBA Finals in New York. With the number of celebrities attending the contest, including the sitting U.S. President, Donald Trump, the 63-year-old head coach plans to watch Game 3 at his home.
“It’s a tough ticket to get, man,” said Harbaugh. “There’s a lot of ‘celebrities. Come on, really? In New York City? Let’s rank it out.”

The number of celebrities going to Game 3 of the NBA Finals is a bit staggering. There’s Trump, of course. But there is also Spike Lee, Fat Joe, Ben Stiller, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Adam Sandler, and so much more. While John Harbaugh is a celebrity in his own right and would be welcomed by Knicks fans because he coaches the Giants, Harbaugh is well near the bottom of the list of big-named celebrities wanting to watch the Knicks live.
Game 3 is scheduled to tip off at 8:30 p.m. EST. A victory gives the Knicks a commanding 3-0 lead over the Spurs. No team in NBA history has ever come back from that deficit in any round of the postseason. A loss keeps San Antonio’s hopes to win the title alive and well.
