Dwyane Wade Gives a Golf Course Classic a THC Twist

NBA legend Dwyane Wade is bringing his love of golf to the beverage aisle through a new collaboration with Cann.

Wade teamed with the brand to create Half & Half, a blend of bergamot lemonade, yerba mate iced tea and naturally sourced caffeine. The drink reworks the familiar golf-course combination that Wade enjoys during his time on the links.

Cann will offer the flavor in two versions. One contains 3 milligrams of THC per can, while the other contains none. The THC option pairs a smooth tea base with bright lemonade, offering relaxation alongside a clean boost of energy.

For Wade, the partnership also reflects life beyond competition. As a devoted father, he wanted an option that could help him unwind without leaving him with a hangover. He had already become a regular Cann customer before helping shape the new flavor.

Cann Moves Beyond THC With Its New Collection

The zero-THC Half & Half marks new territory for Cann. It belongs to the company’s first 0mg lineup, which combines magnesium, electrolytes, L-theanine and yerba mate.

Cann designed the alcohol-free collection to work across several parts of the day. Customers can choose it as an afternoon boost, a social drink without alcohol or a pre-workout option. That flexibility lets Wade’s creation reach consumers who want the taste and functional ingredients but prefer to skip THC altogether.

Cann set June 30 as the online release date for all four SKUs, followed by an in-store rollout throughout August.

Wade’s latest move turns a clubhouse standard into something more adaptable. Golf provided the inspiration, but the two formulas give Half & Half room to travel far beyond the course.
