Dave Portnoy shares wild video of Uber Eats driver who was arrested after brutal fight at Barstool Sports HQ
Dave Portnoy has shared footage that shows an Uber Eats driver allegedly ‘fighting’ with a female Barstool Sports employee and security guard.
The Barstool founder took to social media on Monday (24 August) to post the video, and implied that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is somehow to blame for the incident.

“We had a crazy scene today at Barstool World HQ,” Portnoy wrote, captioning the video, which lasts around three minutes and includes both a handheld recording and CCTV.
“An Uber Eats driver got in a fight with Gia in the hallway over her order. Our security guard Dan went into the hall to tell the guy to leave and he attacked him. Beat him up pretty good.
“@stoolsalesguy (Paul ‘Gaz’ Gulczynski) saved the day pulling him off. (Thankfully it was Gaz and not Mintzy who arrived 1st). Then the rest of the troops rushed in followed by Cody and Travy for the Boys to help out.
“Now what we got to pay very close attention to in the security footage we pulled is how @TomScibelli (in red) handled this explosive situation. Bravery like this can not go unnoticed. Totally secured and locked down the office.
“The police did show up and arrest the guy. Danny may need a few stitches and a couple beers. All in all another day at the Stool. Shoutout Mandami’s NYC.”
Portnoy’s video has been viewed more than nine million times in less than 24 hours.
According to the New York Post, police confirmed they were called to Barstool’s Midtown office, on Seventh Avenue, around 2pm Monday.
The NYPD confirmed a ‘person of interest’ was taken into custody and an investigation is ongoing, after a verbal dispute turned physical with a 31-year-old man punching a 45-year-old man multiple times in the face.
It remains unclear what led to the incident.
Uber later confirmed to the post that it had removed the delivery driver from its app.

“We are horrified by the conduct displayed,” a statement to the outlet read.
“Violence is never tolerated, and we’ve removed the courier’s access to the Uber platform.”
Dave Portnoy slams ‘clown’ Enes Kanter Freedom for WNBA antics
Portnoy shared footage of the Barstool incident hours after he called out former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom for a stunt he pulled on Sunday night.
Freedom clashed with Chicago Sky star Natasha Cloud before being ejected from his baseline seat at the Wintrust Arena, where the Indiana Fever went on to win.
The former basketball player, who has already declared for the 2027 WNBA Draft, was wearing a shirt that read: ‘WOMAN noun adult human female.’
His latest stunt came amid the league’s debate around transgender athletes.

“I don’t think boys should be allowed to play in girls sports. I also think Enes Kanter is an absolute clown for making this issue about him,” Portnoy wrote, sharing a clip of that incident on X.
“We should be talking about how Caitlin (Clark) had another double double 37 and 10.”
