Celtics rumors: Boston owners linked to potential NFL franchise purchase

Former C’s governor and current minority owner Wyc Grousbeck and alternate governor Aditya Mittal are preparing to make a bid for the Seattle Seahawks, per The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach.
Following a magnificent 2025-26 campaign that concluded with a commanding 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60, the Paul G. Allen Trust should be able to secure a historic deal with whomever decides to purchase the team. Grousbeck and Mittal intend to maintain their roles with the Celtics even if they succeed in their efforts.
