Birmingham vs Wolves prediction
These two sides come up against each other having both gone unbeaten in their first three games of the new Championship season.
Wolves picked up two wins before losing to West Ham 4-2 at London Stadium in an emphatic loss that saw Wolves go down 3-1 within 53 minutes.
They are so far, still right up there in the Championship table though with seven points from their first three games including a draw that started off their campaign.
Birmingham won their first game of the new campaign last weekend weekend.
They’ve drawn the other three games though, remaining unbeaten but a little further down the table with six points – but are still a threat to Wolves with that form.
Both sides are doing quite well early on, but can Birmingham keep their unbeaten run going to climb the table? Or will Wolves resume their winning run trying to get right back into the Premier League?
Birmingham vs Wolves betting tips
Goals betting
This seems like an ideal game that will see goals whether it be over 1.5 goals or both teams to score.
Wolves have scored 11 and conceded as many as eight in their first four games and in comparison Birmingham have conceded four and scored five, not a huge amount but still on average just over one per game.
Wolves have so far hit four past Stoke, three over Preston, two against Blackburn and two against West Ham, proving they are even in defeat able to hit the target well.
As such, I can’t see anything other than a Wolves win to spoil the Birmingham unbeaten streak.
Goalscorers
If we’re also going with goals, there’s got to be a few goalscorer bets that stick out as well.
Raul Jimenez is back at Wolves and back in the Championship, scoring against Stoke last weekend in their 4-1 win with a penalty and also netted another penalty against Blackburn to seal a last minute draw to make it 2-2.
Three other players have also already scored two this season for Wolves: Fernando Lopez, Marshall Munetsi and Rodrigo Gomes.
