Ben Johnson teases acting chops in ManningCast: Heist before Hallmark Christmas movie
Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson has plenty on his plate this season. He’s obviously looking to lead the Bears back to the playoffs. Plus, Johnson is slated to be in a Hallmark movie this Christmas.
Recently, Johnson showcased his talents during a brief appearance on the famed ManningCast, per ESPN. The episode featured Peyton and Eli, along with a vast array of stars, taking part in a “heist” at Omaha Productions studios.
It featured Serena Williams, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, the Kelce Brothers, and Johnson. Johnson was briefly shown playing a security guard talking to Goodell, who orders him not to let the Mannings out of the building.

In June, Johnson formally announced his appearance in the Hallmark movie entitled “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story”. It’s a romantic drama that is set against the backdrop of the Bears organization.
The movie will also feature Chicago tight ends Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet. It will also include appearances from Bears legends such as Mike Singletary. Not only that, Connie Payton, the widow of Walter Payton, will be featured.
Johnson is embarking on his second season with the Bears. Last year, he led them to the NFC North title with an 11-6 record. The Bears made it to the Divisional Round before losing to the Los Angeles Rams 20-17.
Chicago is saturated with expectations to win the division again and for Caleb Williams to contend for the MVP. Johnson is expected to win Coach of the Year.
Meanwhile, “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story is set to debut on Hallmark on Oct. 17.
