Bayern Munich vs PSG talkSPORT betting tips – Best football bets and expert advice

Wednesday’s second leg of the Champions League semi-final between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain is probably the most eagerly awaited fixture of the 2025-26 football season, given the incredible first match between the teams at the Parc Des Princes last week.

PSG won 5-4 after an enthralling battle that saw seven different players score and a penalty for each side in an end-to-end contest.

A draw would now be good enough for the defending champions to progress to their third final in seven seasons, while Bayern will no doubt feel that home advantage can help them turn the tie around and make the final for the first time since they beat PSG in Lisbon in 2020.

Our three best bets for Wednesday’s Champions League clash are below.

Bayern Munich vs PSG Tips

  • Bayern to win & both teams to score @ 5/4
  • Over 4.5 goals @ 23/20
  • Harry Kane first goalscorer @ 17/5

Bayern can turn the tie around

Bayern are 13/20 favourites to win the second leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, and after they played a full part in the breathless first leg in Spain, that looks a realistic outcome.

Given that the teams each scored at least four goals in that match, boosting the odds by taking Bayern to win in a match that sees both sides scoring seems worthwhile.

Both teams made the same decision for their domestic games at the weekend, rotating their sides for relatively unimportant home league matches – Bayern have already clinched the Bundesliga title while PSG are six points clear in Ligue 1.

The outcomes were similar too, with Bayern drawing 3-3 against rock-bottom Heidenheim thanks to a last-minute equaliser from Michael Olise, while PSG drew 2-2 at home to mid-table Lorient after being pegged back twice.

Bayern have won all of their home fixtures in the Champions League and they have lost in front of their own fans just once this season.

PSG have been in fine form on the road with five successive wins to nil, including the away legs of their Champions League ties at Chelsea and Liverpool, but they could struggle to hold back a rampant Bayern side.

More entertainment is on the cards

Bayern have scored at least three goals in seven consecutive home games and they have netted four or more times in six of their last nine at the Allianz Arena.

Five of their last six matches have produced at least six goals and another blockbuster of a match is likely when you add the attacking talent of prolific PSG to the mix.

The French champions won 7-2 on their last Champions League trip to Germany against Bayer Leverkusen in October and they have scored at least two goals in 10 of their last 11 matches.

After the teams combined for nine goals in the first meeting, another game with five or more is worth backing.

Kane can resume sensational scoring streak

England captain Harry Kane came on as a half-time substitute in Bayern’s weekend game and failed to find the net for only the second time in his last 17 matches.

He had scored in eight consecutive games before that, including a double against Atalanta at the Allianz in March, and he notched two goals four times in five games in an incredible run in February.

Kane opened the scoring in the first leg and merits support to reach the 60-goal mark for the season with the first strike again on Wednesday.
