Astros get extremely troubling Carlos Correa injury update
The Houston Astros received an alarming Carlos Correa injury update late Wednesday morning after the veteran infielder was scratched prior to the Astros win vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers at Daikin Park Tuesday night. The Athletic’s Chandler Rome took to his X, formerly Twitter, sharing that the veteran shortstop and third baseman is believed to have suffered a significant left-ankle injury during pregame batting practice. Rome also credited MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart as the first to report the development.
“Carlos Correa is believed to have suffered a significant left ankle injury, sources tell @TheAthletic . He will visit a foot specialist tomorrow to determine the exact severity and timeline, but ‘it is not good,’ one source said. First: @brianmctaggart”
