Anthony Joshua vs Kristian Prenga undercard announced with two world title fights

The Anthony Joshua vs Kristian Prenga undercard has finally been announced two weeks before fight night.

Joshua squares off with Prenga on July 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in a tune-up fight for his long-awaited all-British showdown with Tyson Fury.

Provided AJ beats Prenga and Fury defeats Mariusz Wach one day prior in Thailand, the pair will meet at the back end of the year in a bout that has been a decade in the making.

While Fury’s fight doesn’t appear to have an undercard in place, Joshua vs Prenga will be supported by 12 fights.

In the co-main event, Hamzah Sheeraz defends his WBO super middleweight title against Simon Zachenhuber of Germany.

Zachenhuber (29-1) lost to short-notice replacement Pawel Augustynik on the Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov undercard in April.

Yet somehow he has landed a world title shot, while Augustynik faces Jacob Bank on the same night.

Sheeraz (23-0-1) picked up the vacant burgundy-and-gold strap with a two-round demolition of the overmatched Alem Begic at the foot of the Pyramids of Giza in May.

Further down the bill, Josh Kelly makes the first defence of his IBF super welterweight title against Caoimhin Agyarko.

Kelly (18-1-1) pulled off a big upset over Bakhram Murtazaliev last time out for the belt in a bout that saw both men exchange knockdowns.

Agyarko (18-0) is coming off a thrilling split decision victory over Ishmael Davis that could have gone either way.

There is space on the card for exciting prospects Mikie Tallon and Reito Tsutsumi, while 2024 Olympic gold medallist Oleksandr Khyzhniak makes his second walk as a professional.

Former British and Commonwealth middleweight champion Felix Cash also features against Palestinian Abdul Khattab as he looks to continue rebuilding from his loss to Tyler Denny.

Local Saudi boxers Ziyad Almaayouf, Mohammed Alakel, and Sultan Almohammed are in action as well.
