Another fake NFL player scam has entered chat, and this time it involves Cowboys

A week after a man was exposed for posing as a San Francisco 49ers player, another fake NFL player, whose fictional career included a stint with the Dallas Cowboys, has been identified.

Uras Agee IV has been exposed as another fake NFL player who scammed people for years. As the Dallas Morning News notes, he was listed on the 2017 roster for Shorter University, a Division II program. It is also worth noting that he has not been charged criminally for his actions.

However, Agee alleged an NFL career that included stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Cowboys. He even called himself a Super Bowl 55 winner (which the Buccaneers won by blowing out the Kansas City Chiefs).

How much (if anything) Agee scammed people out of has not been discovered yet. There is a profile that depicts Agee on a website that charges $240 for a social media deal, $600 for brand ambassador deals, and $3,000 for appearance fees.

In 49ers and NFL News 24/7’s post on X, formerly Twitter, they allege that Agee convinced a spa in Tampa that he was an NFL player. He signed a football so that the business could give it away through Toys for Tots.

Agee even alleged that he was signed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation while he wore Cowboys gear. In 2022, he was also thanked by a youth football coach from Chattanooga, Tennessee, for sharing “his story and words of wisdom” with his team.

He also had a YouTube channel where he posted workout and highlight videos. According to the Dallas Morning News, the videos “showcased him exercising in team gear, showing off expensive jewelry,” among other things.

One of Agee’s alleged ex-partners of almost a year, Julia Frappier, has also spoken out about the fake NFL player. Agee, who allegedly made Frappier sign a “fake NDA,” cheated on her and scammed her out of money.

He showed her various pictures, videos, and more that seemed to prove he was an NFL player. Frappier said that she “didn’t think someone would lie about that.” Frappier had her suspicions, but Agee was “very manipulative” towards her, allegedly “gaslighting” her.

49ers and NFL News 24/7 has outed two fake NFL players in two days. It remains to be seen how many more they expose in the coming days.
