76ers legend Allen Iverson has perfect reaction to Andre Drummond dagger vs. Magic
The Philadelphia 76ers earned the right to the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, defeating the Orlando Magic, 109-97, on Wednesday night. In what was a highly physical game that saw several technicals called, it was Andre Drummond of all players who put the game to bed.
With just under a minute left and the 76ers leading by nine, Drummond drilled a corner trey, sending the Philly crowd into a raucous. Allen Iverson, the Sixers legend, was sitting courtside and had a perfect view. His reaction was priceless.

Iverson was at a lack for words after watching the big man drain the triple.
Drummond did not even attempt a single three-point shot until the fourth year of his pro career. His shooting range remained non-existent for most of his career, including stints in Detroit, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia (the first time), Brooklyn, and Chicago.
But the game has changed, and so too has Drummond’s reluctance to shoot from deep. He attempted 1.4 triples per game this season, shooting them at a decent clip of 36%.
In Wednesday’s win, the 76ers’ big man played 31 minutes, racking up 14 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and three blocks. Meanwhile, teammate Tyrese Maxey, who was fired up after the win, led the team with 31 points on 11-for-25 shooting.
The Sixers advance to face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. Once the game was wrapped up, the 76ers crowd was seen chanting “We want Boston.” They will get their wish.
But as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.
