49ers parody Spider-Man: Brand New Home poster with George Kittle
It didn’t take long for the San Francisco 49ers and George Kittle to give their own interpretation of the recent Spider-Man: Brand New Day posters dropped by Sony.
The 49ers dropped their take on the poster on social media on Tuesday, Apr. 14. It still showed a close-up of Tom Holland’s mask, but in his eye is Kittle and the Bay Bridge instead of Zendaya’s MJ.

Their caption read, “The Amazing Tight-End,” a play on the Amazing Spider-Man comics and movies. The backdrop was also Levi’s Stadium instead of New York City.

Sony is ramping up the promotion of their upcoming Brand New Day movie. The fourth Holland-led Spider-Man movie is set to release on July 31, 2026, just two weeks after he stars in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey.
Additionally, his fiancée and on-screen partner, Zendaya, will star in both projects this summer. So, it is a year filled with Holland and Zendaya.
Brand New Day comes out almost five years after the last installment in the franchise, No Way Home. The movie ended with Peter Parker (Holland) placing a spell on the world that causes everyone, including MJ, to forget him. Now, he tries to pick up the pieces while still being Spider-Man and dealing with new threats.
Kittle, meanwhile, is heading into his 10th year in the NFL with the 49ers. He is coming off an injury-riddled 2025 campaign that was cut short after suffering a torn Achilles tendon.
In 11 games, Kittle caught 57 passes for 628 yards. He also had seven touchdown receptions in the games he played. Kittle was coming off a year in which he caught 78 passes for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns.
He is a former fifth-round NFL Draft pick out of Iowa. Through his first nine seasons in the NFL, Kittle made seven Pro Bowls and five All-Pro squads (two First-team, three Second-team).
