WWE’s Dominik Mysterio recalls working experience with ‘humble’ Ryan Garcia

The Monday Jul. 27, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW featured a major cameo. While the show did not particularly advance anything for the upcoming SummerSlam PLE, boxer Ryan Garcia made a surprising appearance.

Since it began, WWE has been recognized for showcasing major celebrities involved in film promotions and upcoming matches. The show has previously featured guests such as Hugh Jackman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Tyson, and many others. And now, WBC Welterweight Champion Ryan Garcia appeared on RAW ahead of his upcoming fight against Conor Benn, which is being co-promoted by Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.

On this week’s episode, Garcia appeared during Joe Hendry’s concert and ruined the segment before joining forces with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh’s Judgment Day. Recently appearing on the Ariel Helwani Show, Mysterio reflected on his experience working with Garcia.

“He was super cool. Very humble, at least with me and JD. He knew we were in there to handle business. Ryan was there to handle business; we took care of what we had to do. Hopefully, I’ll get to see him down the line,” Mysterio added.

Mysterio is currently scheduled to face Danhausen at the upcoming 2026 SummerSlam. However, Garcia’s presence for the PLE is currently unknown.

Dominik Mysterio reflects on working with Karl-Anthony Towns in WWE

In the same interview, Mysterio also opened up about working with Karl-Anthony Towns on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in New York City.

“I mean, I don’t know that I’d put it that way, as one of the great honors of my career because I’ve had some moments at MSG. That one would definitely be a top five moment for me, getting chokeslammed through a table by an NBA Champion at MSG. Insane. Never in a million years did I expect that to happen,” Mysterio added.

He further issued a warning to Karl-Anthony Towns by threatening him with Omos. “You know, never say never. There’s a numbers game with the Judgment Day. I don’t know if you recently watched AAA, but I just aligned myself with a giant by the name of Omos. If KAT wants to keep getting involved in Judgment Day business, might just have to make another phone call and call Omos. Guarantee you that he’s bigger than KAT, not only in height but thick. This boy is [thiccc].”
