WWE’s Cody Rhodes shares 5-year-old daughter’s adorable Father’s Day interview

On Sunday, June 21, 2026, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes celebrated Father’s Day with his daughter, Liberty, who interviewed him.

He shared a picture of Liberty’s Father’s Day interview on his Instagram Stories. It’s hard to make out everything she wrote, but it appears she tried to write he was 39 years old (he will turn 41 on June 30).

Additionally, according to his daughter, his favorite food is “turkey,” and his favorite thing to do is “play” with her. Meanwhile, she loves playing Mario Kart with him. Why does she love him? Well, “because he gives me hugs.”

Perhaps the most meaningful thing she wrote was saying the thing he “always says” is “I love you.” That is important for any parent to say, whether they are WWE Champions or not.

How many kids does WWE Champion Cody Rhodes have?

Rhodes and his wife, Brandi, have had two children together since their marriage in 2013. The first, Liberty, was born in June 2021. Their second daughter, named Leilani, was born in August 2025.

Currently, Rhodes is the Undisputed WWE Champion in his third reign. He will defend the title against Sami Zayn and Gunther at Night of Champions on June 27.

The “American Nightmare” has been entrenched in a feud against Gunther since WrestleMania 42. He defeated his former mentor, Randy Orton, in the main event of the first night of WrestleMania 42 to retain the title. The “Viper” has since been on a hiatus, and the “Ring General” has taken his spot as the “American Nightmare’s” rival.

Rhodes first beat Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024. His reign would end at WrestleMania 41 the following April, losing to John Cena. He’d then win it back from Cena at SummerSlam that year before losing the championship to Drew McIntyre in January 2026. Rhodes would defeat McIntyre in March 2026 to win the title for a third time.
