WWE star Liv Morgan explains awkward appearance at Spurs-Blazers game
During ESPN’s broadcast of the San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers game, they showed WWE Superstars Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, who are a tag team.
However, when the camera showed them, they were laughing hysterically, and it even looked like Morgan apologized to the Frost Bank Center employee who was crouched next to her.
Turns out, Morgan spilled her drink, and the employee was likely cleaning it up. Morgan responded to ESPN’s post on X, formerly Twitter, by explaining, “I spilled my drink [pleading face emoji].”

Morgan and Rodriguez were at the Spurs-Trail Blazers game to promote WrestleMania 42, which begins on Apr. 18. Richard Jefferson, who was one of the game’s broadcasters, joked that he is “more of a Rhea Ripley guy.”
Will WWE’s Liv Morgan miss WrestleMania 42 with a concussion?
This appearance was a good sign for Morgan’s WrestleMania 42 status. While she was still sporting a nasty wound on her head from an attack by Stephanie Vaquer on Monday Night RAW, Morgan was in a public setting with flashing lights and a lot of noise. If she had a concussion, it’s unlikely WWE would send her to an NBA game.
Either way, fans will have to wait and see what her status is for the show. Morgan was attacked by Vaquer during the Apr. 6 edition of RAW. She was pushed into Roxanne Perez, causing their heads to hit. They hit each other hard, and they were placed in concussion protocol afterward.
There’s never a good time for an injury, but especially not less than two weeks before WrestleMania, WWE’s biggest annual show. Morgan will challenge Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship (which she has won twice) during the first night of the event.
Morgan has had a banner year thus far. She won the 2026 Royal Rumble after finishing as the runner-up several times. Now, she has a chance to reclaim the Women’s World Championship.
