Two English teams are still bidding to reach this season’s final of the Champions League as Premier League leaders Arsenal look to be crowned European champions for the very first time in their history.

The Gunners kick off their quarter final tonight with a first leg in Lisbon, with the winner of that tie taking on the winner of the all-Spanish tie between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for a place in the final.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been put on separate sides of the draw which means the it could be the two Premier League teams meeting in the Hungarian capital for European football’s greatest prize.

The Reds, who currently sit fifth in the table in defence of the Premier League title they won last season, would have get past reigning European champions PSG in their last eight tie though, and then get the better of the victor in Real Madrid’s quarter final against Bayern Munich.
