After several years of marriage, WWE star Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona are ready to have kids soon, as the recently crowned Women’s Champion revealed.

Appearing on the Nikki & Brie Show (via Fightful), Green revealed that she is ready to start a family with her husband. Apparently, she has wanted kids since before she returned to WWE several years ago.

“I’m 35. I want to start a family,” she revealed. “Matt and I have started this new era where, when we get annoyed with each other, it’s more like, ‘You need to change this before we have kids. You can’t be doing that.’ I’ll do it all the time. This poor man is so sick of it.”

No, Green and Cardona do not have kids yet. They are 35 and 51, respectively, and they have been married since 2021, so the time might be right.

However, they are at the top of their games in WWE. Cardona recently made his return to the company after being on the indies for years after his release. He made his formal return to the main roster on Friday Night SmackDown.

Meanwhile, his wife just won her first main roster world championship. She defeated the likes of Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, and Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam in a ladder match to determine the interim Women’s Champion.

Rhea Ripley, the current champion, suffered a torn meniscus injury a couple of months ago. WWE opted to hold a ladder match to determine an interim champion.

Unfortunately, Green suffered a broken orbital bone in her first match as champion during the Aug. 7, 2026, edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
