The Philadelphia Eagles are just over one month away from kicking off the 2026 NFL season, currently taking part in training camp. The Eagles are hoping to bounce back after a rough 2025 season that saw them exit in the Wild Card round on the heels of their Super Bowl win.

This season, plenty of pressure will be on head coach Nick Sirianni, who has continually faced criticism throughout his Philadelphia tenure despite having one of the best records in NFL history.

Recently, Sirianni broke down how he is able to deal with the Philadelphia press and fans, who can be quite fickle when things aren’t going well.

“What I appreciate is all the people in my life who have gotten me ready to have thick skin in the first place, starting with my dad. I got yelled at quite a bit as a kid, and then my college coach, he was not shy… I’ve been well prepared,” he said, per the NFL Network on X, formerly Twitter.

The Eagles won a Super Bowl less than two years ago but were still routinely booed down the stretch of last season due to their performance on the field, culminating in a disastrous Wild Card loss at home to the San Francisco 49ers in upset fashion.

This offseason, Philadelphia made some big moves, firing offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo and replacing him with Sean Mannion, as well as trading AJ Brown to the New England Patriots and drafting wide receiver Makai Lemon with their first-round pick.

The Eagles will hope these new changes will pay dividends starting on September 13 when they kick off their season vs the Washington Commanders.
