Who is referee for England vs Norway? It’s a reunion and potential good omen
England’s World Cup quarter-final against Norway will be officiated by a familiar face to Three Lions fans.
The refereeing team for the last eight clash in Miami has been confirmed by FIFA.

It comes ahead of the Norway vs England game on Saturday, with kick-off at 10pm (BST) live on talkSPORT.
The winner will face either Argentina or Switzerland on Wednesday for a place in the final.
Who is the referee for Norway vs England?
France’s Clement Turpin has been announced as the man in the middle at the Hard Rock Stadium this weekend.
It will be the 44-year-old’s fourth match at this summer’s World Cup and his ninth overall.
Turpin previously officiated at both the 2018 and 2022 tournaments.
He will be assisted by compatriots Nicolas Danos and Benjamin Pages in Florida.
Meanwhile, Alejandro Hernandez and Jose Enrique Naranjo of Spain will serve as fourth official and reserve assistant referee, respectively.
Turpin has already overseen three matches in North America, including England’s opening victory over Croatia on June 17.
He has since taken charge of the goalless draw between Paraguay and Australia as well as Colombia’s last 32 win against Ghana.
Despite not issuing a single booking during the Three Lions’ match with Croatia, Turpin has since handed out seven yellow cards in two matches.

That could provide a cause for concern for England, with four players walking a tightrope before their yellow cards are reset after the last eight.
Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Marc Guehi and Nico O’Reilly would all be suspended for a potential semi-final if they are booked against Norway.
However, both Rice and Guehi are fitness doubts for the match due to a sickness bug and hamstring strain, respectively.
Positive omens
Turpin has refereed England more than any other national team during his career.
Their match against Norway will mark the ninth time the Frenchman has officiated the Three Lions.
They have won five of those previous eight matches, with the only draw a goalless stalemate against Slovenia at Euro 2024.
