England face Norway in the World Cup quarter-finals tonight knowing a date with old foe Argentina could await.

Facing high altitude, weather chaos and a hugely partisan crowd, the Three Lions produced one of their greatest-ever wins over Mexico in the last round.

Thomas Tuchel’s men have had a few days to rest and recover but are now in Miami for the quarter-finals.

Who do England face in the quarter-finals?

England face Norway in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup tonight.

Erling Haaland inspired Norway to a 2-1 win over Brazil to send them through on Sunday night.

The match – which will be live on talkSPORT – will be held at 10pm on Saturday, July 11 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Who could England face in the semi-finals?

Should England win, they will be into the semi-finals where defending World Cup champions Argentina could await.

Lionel Messi’s side are the highest-ranked team on the Three Lions’ side of the draw, and came from two goals down to beat Egypt 3-2 last time out.

The World Cup holders face off against Switzerland, who beat Colombia, for a chance to reach the semi-finals.

England’s potential semi-final will take place in Atlanta at 8pm on Wednesday, July 15.
