US Soccer legend confused by Tom Brady’s ‘fake beef’ with Logan Paul

Regarded as one of the greatest NFL players of all time, Tom Brady recently found himself engaged in a heated rivalry with celebrity streamer, boxer, and WWE Superstar Logan Paul. Their rivalry stemmed earlier this year after Paul claimed his experience in the WWE made him as athletic as NFL players. However, Brady quickly and publicly dismissed the statement.

This soon resulted in a spat between them, resulting in both taking social media shots at each other. Things escalated when Brady recently slapped Paul during a Fanatics Fest. Their ongoing back-and-forth has attracted puzzling and confusing opinions. Even USWNT legend Megan Rapinoe was left confused by Brady’s ongoing “fake beef” with Paul.

“Sorry to this person in advance. But I think, especially in light of recent events, and with the platform and capital available in what is a world that needs role models, capital, like people doing cool s___ with their money and whatever,” Rapinoe said on the Why Are You Like This? podcast. “I’m like Tom Brady, what are we doing? Why are we doing that? What’s up with the slap and the fake beef? I’m confused.”

“Like, why do we need to do that? I don’t think we need to. … That is bizarre. Otherwise, I think he’s like really impressive in a lot of ways and has the ability to be an incredibly, like, influential figure in so many ways. And then you’re like slapping some dude on the ear,” the veteran further added. (via HITC)

Brady, 49, has spent over two decades being a part of the NFL, and Rapinoe is now failing to understand why someone of Brady’s stature would like to involve themselves in a fake rivalry with WWE Superstar Logan Paul.
