Twins make official Royce Lewis IL decision
Third baseman Royce Lewis suffered an apparent injury in his left knee during the Minnesota Twins’ 3-1 win over the Detroit Tigers on Thursday. After monitoring the situation, the organization made an IL decision for Lewis.
The Twins announced on Saturday that Lewis, who is 26 years old, is being placed on the 10-day IL with a left knee sprain. Minnesota also announced right-handed pitcher Cody Laweryson is going to the 15-day IL, while utility man Ryan Kreidler and right-handed pitcher Andrew Morris were recalled from Triple-A St. Paul.
