The Rock seemingly debunked any chance of WWE WrestleMania cameo after CinemaCon appearance in Las Vegas
Arguably one of the most integral part of the WWE WrestleMania season for the past two years, wrestling fans are yet to witness and experience “The Rock” this time on the Road to WrestleMania. With just hours left for the “Showcase of the Immortals”, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson could’ve possibly debunked the chances of his appearance at the PLE.
“The Rock” was recently present in Las Vegas, but not for WrestleMania. Johnson was present in Vegas for CinemaCon, where he was a presenter for the Disney panel on Thursday, Apr. 16, 2026, speaking about the live-action Moana film.
Talking about the film, Johnson opened up about the strong need for female-led films as well as his love for his daughters. Opting to fly back home to his family, Johnson shared his plans and possibly ruled out the chances of his WrestleMania 42 presence.
“Being a proud girl dad, three times. I have a daughter in her 20s, I have ten, I have eight…I have seven. My youngest [Tia] is going to turn eight tomorrow. Happy birthday Tia, I know you’re going to see this. I love you. I’m coming home tonight,” he said.
WWE is in Las Vegas for a second time in a row, for WrestleMania 42. It is set to take place on Apr. 18 and Apr. 19. While “The Rock” was part of the buildup for WrestleMania 41 in Vegas, he did not appear at the event. He was also a part of the WrestleMania 40 buildup and appeared and wrestled at the show against Cody Rhodes.
