Bet of the Day
Under 3.5 goals in Brazil vs Haiti @ 37/40
Brazil’s failure to beat Morocco in their opening World Cup contest was not a shock at the level of Spain’s stalemate with Cape Verde, but the 1-1 draw with the Atlas Lions was not an encouraging result for Selecao.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men were second best in that MetLife Stadium tie, losing the shot count 14-12 and putting up inferior expected goals numbers.
Concerns over a midfield pairing of Bruno Guimaraes and Casemiro were laid bare when that duo were dominated by 18-year-old Ayyoub Bouaddi, and while Brazil have talented players in attacking areas, they are struggling to give them the ball.
The disappointing performance against Morocco followed a lacklustre qualification campaign, and even if Brazil have enough to beat Haiti, it may not be a high-scoring victory.
The Grenadiers allowed Scotland only two shots on target, three corners and an xG of just 1.05 in their opening North American clash and they may not be facing an opponent all that superior to the Tartan Army.
Sebastien Migne’s men are capable of being disciplined and structured enough to limit Brazil’s chances, making under 3.5 goals a solid bet for this contest.

USA vs Australia – USA to win, USA to score over 1.5 goals & Folarin Balogun to score any time @ 41/20
The USA made a blistering start to their World Cup campaign when hammering Paraguay 4-1 in Los Angeles, making it 19 goals in their last eight games.
It was a mixed preparation for the USMNT, but excellent manager Mauricio Pochettino looks to have his side at their peak on home turf and Folarin Balogun is firing in attack.
The Monaco man registered two excellent finishes in the win over Paraguay and he looks like a solid bet to add to his tally.
Australia pulled off a shock 2-0 victory over Turkey in their opener, but that success came from only 28 per cent possession and the Socceroos conceded 30 efforts on goal to the Crescent Stars.
A repeat of those numbers should see the USA and Balogun strike in a high-scoring victory for the hosts.
Longshot acca
USA to beat Australia, Morocco to beat Scotland & Turkey to beat Paraguay @ 17/4
Co-hosts USA are buzzing at this home World Cup and they can follow up their win over Paraguay by beating Australia.
The Socceroos put a lot into their victory over Turkey and limited recovery after recording just 28 per cent possession in that contest could be felt in the legs.
If Morocco can reach the level of their 1-1 draw against Brazil they should beat Scotland. The Atlas Lions won the shot count 14-12, they were the better team on the expected goals numbers and Mohamed Ouahbi’s men are a progressive outfit.
Turkey were shocked by Australia, but the Crescent Stars had 72 per cent possession and 30 efforts on goal in that defeat. Those numbers should be enough to beat a Paraguay side, who were hammered 4-1 by the USA.
