Stephen A. Smith reveals he wants to date a ‘domesticated woman’

Stephen A. Smith went viral for his current dating request.

In an episode of Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast earlier this month, he shared what he is looking for in a partner. Smith shared that he is interested in women who show great “conversation and intellect” as well as who are “domesticated.”

“Somebody needs to say that. We need to stop that s***,” he said. “This assault against masculinity, it’s going to end with this.”

He shared that while he can “cook for myself,” he “doesn’t want to.”

“I want you to cook. I’ll pay for the food. I’ll take you out every week…The only thing I’m doing for myself is getting up for some cereal,” Smith added.

He continued to share that his view might come off as “chauvinistic,” he will “buy the food” and “take care of whatever you need me to take care of.”

He then said that his sister has set an example of what he would want a woman he is in a romantic relationship to provide.

“My sister has her own family. If my sister knows I’m coming, the minute I walk through the door, I’m smelling food,” he said. “She knows that. She’s my sister. You’re the woman in my life, and I’m smelling Pine-Sol? That ain’t gonna last. I assure you that. Go get the brother that don’t mind. I hope he can offer you what I’m offering.”

When Newton asked if his partner works despite requiring hot meals, he responded, “Oh yes. Why? Because I don’t want you home all day long thinking about what I’m doing. I need you preoccupied. With life. If you’re in my life, you’re good. But I’m going to get a hot meal. I said a hot one.”

“I’ll always give more than I get,” he concluded. “But I’m gonna get. Or else. And I ain’t apologizing for that to a damn soul.”

These comments follow his previous comments on the podcast in the episode where he shared that “sex appeal” is a top requirement when dating.

“Let me guess. Let me scratch that,” he said of “intelligence” and “conversation” as primary traits. “That’s two and three on the list. Sex appeal starts. It starts there.”
