Stephen A. Smith crashes out over Mike Wilbon crapping on Knicks right after praising him on Mike Vrabel

Mike Wilbon learned that two things can be true after talking about the Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini scandal on Get Up, as New York Knicks superfan Stephen A. Smith slammed him for his take on his favorite NBA team.

Smith took to X, formerly Twitter, to call out Wilbon after his appearance on Get Up. He raved about his Vrabel segment before condemning what he had to say about the Knicks, claiming he was “messing with the euphoria surrounding” the team.

“Just one segment after spitting facts, wisdom and utter brilliant candor on Mike Vrabel on [Get Up], this man [Mike Wilbon] is now messing with the euphoria surrounding the [Knicks]. All this man wants to do is laugh at me. He’s setting the stage. But I see you, [Mike Wilbon]. I see you, Big Bro!”

Stephen A. Smith thinks the Knicks are going all the way

After the Knicks punched their ticket to the NBA Finals, Smith predicted that they would win it all. He is extremely confident in his team.

While he acknowledged that New York would be the “underdog” against either potential Western Conference opponent (the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs), he proclaimed, “They winning the chip!”

The Knicks are four wins away from earning their first championship since 1973. While they made the 1999 NBA Finals, they lost in five games to the Spurs.

They have a chance to right their wrongs and deliver the Big Apple its first championship in over 50 years. The Knicks will be well-rested after having more than a week off before the NBA Finals begin.

New York has swept their last two playoff opponents, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. This has given the team more time to recover and recoup before playing in intense games again.
