Stephen A. Smith begs Cavs to sign LeBron James after ‘quitting’ vs. Knicks
The Cleveland Cavaliers are officially on life support, and Stephen A. Smith has seen enough. Following the Cavs disheartening 121-108 loss to the New York Knicks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the ESPN analyst took to social media to blast the team’s effort. With the Cavaliers now trailing 3-0 in the series, Smith claimed the franchise completely threw in the towel on Saturday night.
“This is a disgraceful late-game show of effort by the @cavs,” Smith posted on X. “Hate to say it, because I’m a @nyknicks fan, but it’s just the truth: when you see this franchise quit like they just did, it needs someone who cares a bit more. Someone proudly accountable to Cleveland.”
Smith’s solution? Bring back the hometown hero, LeBron James.
“Yes…..I’m saying it…….they need @KingJames to return home to save the day…..if THIS group is ever going to bring a title back to Cleveland. Seriously!!!!” Smith urged.
Stay tuned for more!
