The Spurs’ postseason journey has been one of the league’s biggest surprises. First, they dispatched the Portland Trail Blazers in five games. San Antonio then eliminated the Minnesota Timberwolves in six before battling the defending Western Conference champion Thunder in a dramatic back-and-forth series. Regardless of what happens in Game 7, the Spurs are already a new powerhouse emerging in the Western Conference.
