Sophie Cunningham is cheering for Caitlin Clark on and off the court.

Following the Indiana Fever season-opening loss against the Dallas Wings, Cunningham and Clark attended Morgan Wallen’s concert. The Fever fell 107-104 on Saturday, May 9, 2026, but the Fever stars decided to shake off the loss and go to the country star’s concert for his second night at the  Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Clark surprised fans when Wallen kicked off the concert with both of them walking in together. No one was as happy as Cunningham, who called Clark a “bada**b*tch” on her Instagram Story as she was seen smiling while walking onto the stage.

Cunningham has spoken about her passion for music following her viral video of her singing Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” She has shared that she has a love for pop-country music as well and she even teased that she might have a music project down the line. She didn’t specify that she was working with Wallen, but the project will fit a country vibe.

“Oh, I don’t know if I would consider it as Plan B,” she said if she would consider a music career in the future on her Show Me Something podcast back in February. “But you guys, I think that there might be something kind of cool in the background brewing that I might be doing something with someone. A little country artist, because that’s more my vibe.

“So what happened is I work with 3 Arts now. So 3 Arts reached out and was like, ‘Hey, we know the guy who found and produces and started off like Hardy, Morgan Wallen and like four other people.’ And they’re like, ‘She needs to get on a song.’ So I think something might be happening.”

Cunningham seems focused on her WNBA career for now though as she enters her second year with the Fever. Last season prior to her injury she averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 three-pointers in 25.2 minutes per game. The Fever have a chance to pull it together and get their first win of the season as they will face the Los Angeles Sparks on May 13.
