‘Respect this pettiness’ – NFL reporter causes stir after trolling ex-boyfriend with ‘Ochocinco’ photo
NFL reporter Bridget Condon has gone viral after posting a selfie with Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson on Thursday.
Despite the popularity of former Bengals wide receiver Ochocinco, it’s not the picture that sent fans wild but the caption Condon decided to post alongside it.

Condon recounted her early career when she was trying to make it as a sports reporter.
She claims the guy she was dating at the time wasn’t confident she would become successful, and that same person was a huge fan of Ochocinco.
“When I was coming up in this industry I was making pennies and this guy I dated told me to quit and come live with him cause I’d never make it,” she posted on X along with a selfie with her and Ocho.
“He was a huge Ochocinco fan.
“I hope he’s having a nice Thanksgiving!”
That post has garnered over four million views in less than a day, with fans hailing the NFL reporter for a subtle flex.
“I respect this pettiness so much lmao Im the same way,” one fan replied on X.
“Legit troll, well done,” another said.
“You’re the headline, he’s the footnote — that’s all the clapback you need,” another wrote.
“That guy just choked on his thanksgiving plate watching this,” another posted.

However, not everyone was impressed with the dig.
“This actually says more about you than him,” former ESPN host Trey Wingo said.
Condon has been with the NFL since October 2021, working across NFL Network, NFL.com and the NFL app.
She is most often seen at games as a sideline reporter but also contributes to the Fantasy Football show, as well as filming pre-game interviews at practice centers.
Before working for the NFL, Condon worked at stations like WTVD-TV in Durham, North Carolina, and WCAV-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Condon and Ochocinco met before the Bengals beat the Ravens 32-14 on Thanksgiving Day.

The game also marked the return of Bengals QB Joe Burrow, who was making his first appearance since Week 2 after being sidelined with an injury.
Burrow was emotional after the game and turned his nose up at the customary Thanksgiving platter laid out in front of the winners.
The Ravens are now 6-6 for the season, while the Bengals improved to 4-8 to keep the pressure on the Steelers (6-5) at the top of the AFC North.
