Rams WR Puka Nacua’s Week 1 status receives clarity from Sean McVay amid suspension concerns
Questions regarding Puka Nacua’s status in the Los Angeles Rams’ Week 1 opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia have been floating around the league due to the star wideout’s possible suspension. Despite the concerns, Sean McVay is convinced Nacua could be available.
McVay claimed that he expects to see the 25-year-old pass catcher to play in the club’s first game of the season, according to Nate Atkins The Athletic. The Rams head coach said the same thing about offensive lineman, Alaric Jackson, who also faces a possible suspension.
“The expectation is the Puka Nacua and Alaric Jackson will play in Australia as well, per Sean McVay. Both have been facing potential suspensions under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.”
