Premier League 2025/26 relegation odds: Spurs and Notts Forest favourites to go down

One of the biggest shocks to come from the Premier League this season is the relegation battle that looks destined to go down to the final game of the season.

The odds have never been lower for Tottenham to go down this season than ever.

Who are favourites to be relegated in the Premier League this season?

They are just one point adrift of West Ham and Nottingham Forest as the Hammers seem to have the best recent form as they have made huge progress to get out of this relegation fight.

Tottenham were close to losing to Liverpool on Sunday, which would have kept them on the same points as Forest and West Ham.

But they somehow managed to get a goal back and equalise with a goal and an eventual point that could save themselves from the biggest relegation shock.

Burnley and Wolves are pretty much out of the question to get to safety at this point as they need to almost go unbeaten for the remaining league games to achieve safety along with at least five wins in that time.

So with the final few teams: Leeds, Tottenham, Forest, and West Ham – Leeds are the biggest price to go down.

The east London outfit have not only grabbed a point from Man City but also won twice in their last six league games.

Forest on the other hand are winless in their last seven Premier League games.

Premier League relegation odds 2025/26 season

  • West Ham – 13/8
  • Spurs – 15/8
  • Nottingham Forest – 9/4
  • Leeds – 5/1

The Hammers may have the detriment of a poorer goal difference too and with things so close in points it could well come down to the minor stats to decide their fates.

But it’s Tottenham who are the biggest talking point of going down.

They’ve not been down in the second tier of English football since 1977, they’ve recently just got the best stadium in Europe, won the Europa League and have players that should be keeping them afloat.

Yet still they find themselves in a dismal position where it’s a real possibility now.

The north London side have yet to win since 28th December 2025.

As a result of their winless streak they’ve continuously and steadily got closer and closer to relegation rivals Nottingham Forest and West Ham.

There’s just eight games left in the Premier League now and the biggest game is set to come on Sunday as they host Forest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a relegation six-pointer.
