It took place at the bottom of the away end, where tens of Bayern fans stood.

However, it is not yet clear as to what caused the incident between officials and supporters.

talkSPORT.com have contacted the Metropolitan Police for more information.

Arsenal opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Jurrien Timber headed in from a Bukayo Saka cross.

But Bayern equalised shortly after the hour-mark when 17-year-old Lennart Karl smashed in from inside the area.

He is the first player to score against Arsenal in a Champions League group stage/league phase match at the Emirates under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal and Bayern are meeting in the Champions League for the second time in three seasons.

The German giants got the better of the north Londoners during the 2023/24 quarter-finals with a 3-2 aggregate win.
