‘Pitiful’ Liam Rosenior in fight to save Chelsea job with position now ‘untenable’
Liam Rosenior is facing a fight to save his job in the wake of Chelsea’s dismal 3-0 defeat at Brighton.
talkSPORT understands the Chelsea board are discussing a plan of action after the Blues slumped to a fifth straight Premier League defeat without scoring for the first time since 1912.

The Stamford Bridge hierarchy have backed Rosenior to this point and the plan has been to judge him after a full season in charge next term.
However their recent run of poor form coupled with anger from fans is believed to have left the former Strasbourg chief on a less stable footing.
News of Chelsea’s change in feelings towards Rosenior comes as Danny Murphy labelled the Blues boss’ position as untenable on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan.
“Unfortunately for him, I think it’s irreversible when the fans are singing what they are singing,” Murphy said.
Meanwhile, ex-Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan said he felt ‘pity’ for Rosenior – which has to be considered a ‘bad sign’.
