Phillies trade Tommy Pham to White Sox with latest move
With the Philadelphia Phillies preparing for the playoffs, the team isn’t done making moves, as the ball club was part of a trade with the Chicago White Sox. As the Phillies are coming off sweeping the Los Angeles Angels, it didn’t stop the team from making a deal on Monday.
According to MLB insider Jeff Passan of ESPN, Philadelphia is trading veteran Tommy Pham to Chicago.
“Trade news: The Chicago White Sox are acquiring outfielder Tommy Pham from the Philadelphia Phillies, sources tell ESPN,” Passan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “Pham is expected to join the White Sox when rosters expand Sept. 1. The 38-year-old rejoins the Sox after spending parts of 2026 with the Mets, O’s and Phils.”
