PGA Championship beer prices 200% more than the Masters – but fans do get free food
Alcohol will cost a pretty penny at this year’s PGA Championship.
World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler heads to Aronimink Golf Club this week as he looks to defend his title, and those watching on might decide to skip the bars this time around.

Ahead of the tournament in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, beer prices have been leaked by golf writer Ben Parsons — and they make for rough reading.
How much will beer cost at the PGA Championship?
Michelob Ultra and Bud Light (both 16oz) are the cheapest alcoholic beers on offer, and will cost $15 each.
Premium beer, also 16oz, is priced at $16.
A Michelob Ultra 25oz will be on sale for $17.50, while the PGA Championship will also offer a Bud Light seltzer for $16, and a 12oz High Noon (vodka seltzer, vodka tea) for $16.50.
The cheapest beverage on the menu is a non-alcoholic 12oz Michelob Ultra Zero, priced at $12.
Aronimink will have shades of the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, where a single beer cost between $16 and $19.
Both events were organized by the PGA of America, and the beer prices at this week’s championship will be around 200 percent higher than what fans paid at the Masters last month, where Augusta National’s offering is widely celebrated.
While the PGA’s alcohol prices are eye-watering for all the wrong reasons, there is perhaps good reason for the premium cost.
All spectators heading to Aronimink can participate in the PGA Championship Food & Non-Alcoholic Beverage Program.
Described as a ‘one-of-a-kind’ offering, it allows fans to head to concession stands — as many times as they want — for free.

Those at Aronimink will be able to take their pick of entrees, snacks and soft drinks, at no extra cost on top of their original ticket.
Alcoholic beverages, of course, will be charged separately.
What food is on offer at the PGA Championship?
According to the event’s official website, a solid range of breakfast, lunch and snack items will be available to fans across the weekend.
Those heading to Aronimink for breakfast will have their pick of sausage, egg and cheese breakfast biscuits, chicken biscuits, glazed donuts, fruit and yogurt bars.
Lunch selection includes hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers, Italian sausages, plant-based burgers and Mediterranean salads.
Chips, pretzels, cookies and Rice Krispie Treats will be available to all those who are feeling snacky as they watch the action unfold.

Food can be washed down with free soft drink options that include Pepsi, Mountain Dew, iced tea and, of course, water.
Access to unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages is a major bonus for all those who have shelled out for a trip to Aronimink.
How much are tickets for the 2026 PGA Championship?
Tickets for the event start at around $183 for Thursday’s first round, and steadily increase as the weekend rolls on.
It costs around $237 for entry on Friday, and $261 for round-three on Saturday.

Tickets for Sunday’s final round will cost $270.
Weekly passes, which are valid from May 11-17, set spectators back $1,433.
