Packers add WR who was just waived by Commanders

The 6-foot receiver ran a 4.41-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He offers legitimate vertical speed, although he faces a steep climb to earn a meaningful role in a crowded receiving corps.

Hilton’s path to Green Bay began after five seasons at LSU, where he finished with 41 receptions for 780 yards and six touchdowns. He ultimately went undrafted despite participating in multiple all-star games and receiving a combine invitation before landing with Washington. His brief stint with the Commanders now gives way to another opportunity in Green Bay, where he will compete for a depth role and potentially a spot on the roster.

For Hilton, the Packers represent a chance to turn a quick setback into a fresh start. His speed gives Green Bay an intriguing developmental piece. Of course, the immediate goal is simple: make enough plays in practice and preseason action to force his way into the conversation.
