Hunter Henry likely to finish career with Patriots after contract extension

The Patriots and tight end Hunter Henry have agreed to a two-year contract extension, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Henry’s contract has a base value of $16 million and could go up to $20 million with incentives, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It includes $14.5 million guaranteed and a $4.2 million signing bonus.
Hunter had only one year remaining on his contract before the extension. Now the 31-year-old tight end is positioned well to finishing his NFL career in New England.
