OG Anunoby shares true feelings on huge Game 4 shot vs. Spurs
The New York Knicks made NBA history on Wednesday night when they overcame a 29-point deficit against the San Antonio Spurs to win Game 4. It’s the biggest blown lead in NBA Finals history, and Knicks star OG Anunoby is responsible for the heroics late in the game.
With about 12.8 seconds remaining, Anunoby trailed De’Aaron Fox and blocked his very questionable shot in transition. He then followed that up by flying in for an offensive rebound and tipping in the miss by Jalen Brunson to give the Knicks a one-point lead late in the game.
After the game, Anunoby showed some of his hilarious personality by answering a question perfectly about how he feels.
“Feels cool,” Anunoby said. “Everyone’s pretty excited. I’m excited, too… I’m excited too, but we’re just focused on the next game now.”

OG Anunoby scored a playoff career-high 33 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field and 7-of-9 from three in 41 minutes of play. Jalen Brunson added a game-high 36 points with seven assists on 12-of-25 shooting from the field.
“Just staying with it,” Anunoby added in his postgame interview with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt. “Our team is mentally tough, resilient. We’re battle-rested. We’ve been through a lot. We were down 29, but we were still positive. No one getting down, no one getting mad. Just staying with it, knowing that it’s a game of runs and knowing that we’re going to go on our own run.”
