Mike Tomlin lands his next job after Steelers exit
After some time, former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has landed a new job after his exit from the NFL team following the 2025 season.
The Athletic reports that Tomlin is joining NBC as a “top studio analyst” for its Sunday Night Football pregame show, Football Night in America.
This should come as no surprise, as Tomlin’s name has been thrown around for broadcasting jobs for years. Now, he has finally landed a job at a network.
His arrival comes after the network moved on from Tony Dungy, another former NFL coach. So, Tomlin fills a void that is greatly needed.
Previously, it was reported that Fox was the favorite to land Tomlin as they searched for Jimmy Johnson’s replacement. However, it was NBC that landed Tomlin.
He will join host Maria Taylor and former Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett. It’s noted that he will also join Devin McCourty, whom NBC has yet to re-sign. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is also expected to be part of the show, while Matthew Berry continues his contributions with his fantasy football expertise.
This is a developing story…
