Micah Parsons gets brutally honest on Browns-Rams Myles Garrett trade

The Los Angeles Rams trade for Myles Garrett has been the talk of the sports world over the past two days. The move is seismic, adding the reigning Defensive Player of the Year to a roster that already features MVP Matthew Stafford. Also, an interesting conversation about whether Aaron Donald will return to the team has festered, seeming more than just chatter.

Green Bay Packers Linebacker Micah Parsons weighed in on the new star that’s joining an already stacked NFC of defensive talent.

“I would say it’s a whole lot different from the NFC versus the AFC. And I think everyone knows that. So I look at [the] AFC like, [the] AFC’s cool. Like there’s a couple sharks, but the NFC is shark-infested. You know what I mean? Like, it’s different football. It’s like playoff football every week. I mean, there’s not really weak opponents in the NFC. I’m gonna put it like that. So, um, I know the AFC is top-heavy; the predictions are pretty much the same every year, but the NFC is unpredictable. So, it’s great to add more talent to an already shark-infested pool. So, you know, it’s gonna be exciting to see what we do on Thanksgiving.”

Parsons, who’s played in the NFC his entire career, definitely had bold words about the difference between the two conferences. Parsons certainly does add a different dimension to the makeup of both the Rams and the NFC, given his prowess on the defensive line. Parsons’ tease of the Packers vs. Rams Thanksgiving matchup also shines a light on a game that very well could feel like the playoffs and have playoff implications.
