Kyle Van Noy reunites with Vikings’ Brian Flores before Week 1

Kyle Van Noy and Brian Flores achieved loads of success together on the New England Patriots during the late 2010s, and now they are hoping to do the same in The Land of 10,000 Lakes. The Minnesota Vikings are signing the 35-year-old outside linebacker, according to Tom Pelissero of The Ringer and Netflix Sports.

Van Noy visited the team on Tuesday and evidently showed enough to earn a contract. The 2024 Pro Bowl selection will head to the practice squad after missing all of training camp, but he is expected to be a part of the active roster this season.

While Father Time is obviously in pursuit, Van Noy is still a versatile talent who has played in a bunch of big games. Flores is surely excited to work with this pass-rusher once again.

The top-notch defensive coordinator won two Super Bowls with Van Noy in New England and coached him on the Miami Dolphins in 2020, so there should be a high level of trust between the two men. Will it translate to the field?
