Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase kicks off new podcast with huge-name first guest
Ja’Marr Chase was a limited participant in practice on Tuesday due to a knee injury. Fans of the Cincinnati Bengals, however, should not worry, as it is nothing too serious.
Chase will continue to be a key weapon for the Bengals, and he is expected to suit up in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is coming off another prolific campaign with 125 receptions for 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns.
Aside from his brilliance on the field, the 26-year-old wide receiver has also been active off it, particularly with his new podcast, “Chasing No. 1.” According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the pilot episode will have a big-name guest, whom Chase is quite familiar with.
“Some info I just got for Bengals fans: Ja’Marr Chase’s new podcast, ‘Chasing No. 1,’ with co-host Annie Agar, will have Joe Burrow as its first-ever guest and is dropping tomorrow with Overtime,” wrote Schultz.

Fans on X were excited for Chase’s new podcast, with some interested in the odd pairing of Chase and Agar.
“How did Ja’Marr and Annie link for this? LOL. I know it’s about to be funny,” said @VybzGemini.
“Love this. Gonna be an early watcher every episode!” added @Jamarluver1.
“Can’t wait to watch tomorrow,” wrote @Not_Gstreets.
“LMAO, because I’m trying to understand the concept of a (Green Bay) Packers fan making a podcast with a Bengals player, but maybe that’s just me,” commented @raqsunique.
“They better be doing this podcast from Ja’Marr’s basement,” joked @oak_dee80278.
It is only appropriate that Chase has Burrow as his maiden guest, as they have developed a tight bond as the offensive stalwarts of the Bengals.
In February, Chase announced the launch of “Chasing No. 1,” which was supposed to be a weekly sports talk show, with Tee Higgins as his co-host. The plan, however, fell through, and Chase had to pivot.
